I am a Creative Arts Psychotherapist with a particular interest in the use of clay and embodied awareness.
The relationship is always central however and I am more interested in the person to person encounter and whatever may emerge in the session, rather than use of technique.
I have an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy from the Institute of Arts and Therapy in Education and have undertaken a number of additional courses over the years including clay therapy, humanistic integrative supervision, infant and toddler observations, aspects of child psychiatry and solution focused therapy and supervision.
The arts form the backdrop to my life and I run a small ceramics studio which compliments my therapeutic practice.
I have been a member of The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) whose code of ethics I adhere to, since 2004.
